I spoke with Heather one year ago about playing for Claire and Charles's ranch wedding. The planning process with Heather was a pleasure. I was a little concerned about the sound quality in an open field but it was beautiful just as Heather had promised. We had a large number of international guests who were making their first trip to Texas and probably had preconceived notions of local entertainment.
They were all overwhelmed with the quality and beauty of the music.

She is amazingly talented & will add a most angelic sound to your special day. One of my favorite memories on my wedding day was walking down the aisle to beautiful string music played by Heather.
Her pricing is beyond reasonable & she takes care of business. In fact, never once did I have to reach out to her as she was on top of everything.

McFarland strings were the perfect fit for our garden wedding. From the very first time I spoke with Heather, she was as nice as could be and very professional. There were no gray areas and all of my questions were answered right away. I really appreciate all of the music options they have to offer and have them listed clearly on their website. They also have clips of the music so you can preview if you're not completely familiar with the songs. Working with them was a wonderful experience. I wish I would have had a chance to actually meet Heather on my wedding day but she was very easy to work with a family member since I was occupied all day. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to friends.

I got married in May of 2015. We wanted live music for our ceremony and found McFarland Strings.
They have a large list of songs that they play and are willing to learn any other music that you want for a small fee. I was so happy with the music. It was absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend them.
